Class Reflection

This class has been a great learning experience and the knowledge gained from it will serve me well during the course of my career. The class has taught me another way to communicate with students, by using technology. I have already been able to implement the new tools I have learned in this class in my own classroom. I find that the students not only enjoy using and learning through the use of different technologies but it also keeps their attention and makes some concepts much easier for them to grasp. In addition, it is more enjoyable for me to teach using different techniques and in different ways versus opening the book and following instructions. Dr. Wright kept this class evenly paced and the readings interactive and easy to follow. Introduction to blogs and wikipedia has made teaching and learning very enjoyable. Moreover, I have been the envy of the school where I work. The teachers there were not offered this type of class while they were in school. As a result I have been passing along information to others.
