The purpose of this site is to help adults improve basic skills like reading and spelling using real-life stories on topics of interest to adults. Teachers can select stories for students to read, when students are done reading the story, they click the "Next" button at the bottom of the page to go to learning activities based on the story. Each story has the following activities: video, vocabulary, spelling, matching game with new words, pick an answer and a write an answer to test reading comprehension.

There is a separate section for teachers and adult educators that can be accessed by selecting the tab for Adult Educators link at the top of the homepage.
